MONTHS: YEARS:
JavaScript © 1997 by John A. Byers
This calendar was developed from some BASIC code of mine and does not use some Netscape functions that in versions 2.0 and 3.0 have a bug for dates in the next century (year 2000 and onwards). This Calendar works from 1700 to 2080.

Actually on 1 January 2000 the calendar read 1 January 3900 in IE 5.0; so I took out the + 1900 (in the JavaScript code) which was a bug-fix for Netscape 2.0 JavaScript, but now this did not work in the twenty-first century. The bug-fix was from Danny Goodman's book. I think IE 4.0+ and Netscape 3.0+ fixed the bug so by the year 2000 the +1900 overly corrected so it is not helpful in the new versions, thus I took out the +1900 as of 1 January 2000. The only confirmed YK2 problem I have encountered so far as I fixed many earlier in my programs (in QuickBASIC).
